Congrats, ladies. Please send me your name and address so I can get your prize mailed. You have 48 hours to contact me, or sadly, I will pick another comment. Go check your e-mail.

Thanks so much to everyone for entering my giveaway. As you know, I love giveaways, so if you didn’t win this time, there is always the NEXT TIME!!

Pick One: Halloween or Strings… Giveaway

CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. All 24 comments are eligible to win. Thanks much for entering my giveaway. Winners TBA shortly.

OK… time for a new giveaway. (I just LOVE giveaways!!)

I have some Halloween Spiderweb fabric I bought last year that I love but since it isn’t 100% cotton, more of a knit, it won’t work with the project I had in mind. It is just over two yards, 54″ wide. I am thinking perfect for a table covering for your Trick-or-Treat candy. Or a couple of cute capes for kids. Soft and fun looking.

Also, I have 20 String Blocks to giveaway. I made WAY TOO MANY of them during my string making marathon these last few weeks. All of these can be yours. Looks like there are enough blocks to make a little wall hanging or table topper. Each block measures between 6 1/2″- 7″ square. The strings (fabric strips) are sewn onto a square of white muslin.

How do you win, you ask? Just leave a one word comment.

Halloween or Strings. (The word EITHER works too.)

That’s it!! One word. And if your comment is picked by Random Generator, I will know what to send you.

How’s that!! Cool, huh!!

I will leave the giveaway open until Sunday, 10-7 midnight EST, and announce the two winners on Monday, Oct 8.

And in my best Sophia Vergara voice… NOW GO. Enter my giveaway. Thanks!! 😀

Weekend Cutting Marathon

(Update: 8-24-12 09:45am
Guessing game is now closed. Fran is the winner. She guessed 857 squares. I cut 945 squares. Thanks so much, everyone, for submitting a guess.)

All weekend was spent with my rotary cutter glued to my right hand. Standing over my cutting table. Shifting from my right foot to my left foot. Sighing about every hour. 😀 I even missed a couple of meals. I wanted to get my squares cut and over with.

You see, I saw this quilt on the net that I love and want to make. It takes 2 1/2″ and 5″ scrappy squares. Plus 3″ white squares which I cut from my stash. The scrappy squares took forever. I AGAIN went through all of my scraps.

This is what I ended up with.

Guess the total number of 2 1/2″ and 5″ squares I cut, without going over.. and I will mail you one of my handcrafted items. I will select something pretty for you.

So.. let the guessing begin.

Leave your guess in comments. Guesses submitted via e-mail will not count. Must be posted here on this post. You have between now and Thursday, August 23 midnight EST to enter. Good luck and thanks for entering my contest.

New Watchface Bangle

Just finished this peach watchface bangle earlier today.

I showed you how I had bezelled around the face. Here’s the BEFORE.

I turned it into a bangle since the single strand of beads I wanted to go around the face wouldn’t stay put. Always a Plan B with me, isn’t it? Thank goodness!!

I am working on many other things. You should see my work space. A mess. It is like when the clock strikes on the hour, I switch up to something different. One hour for you. Next!! 😀
