New Quilt Block Photos, Ready To Sew

Can you see it? My new layout has a DESIGN!!

Starting in the corner with a brown print, look down diagonally. You can’t see the whole thing but the brown print U-turns on the edge and goes back up diagonally to the top.

My plan is to have the same brown print fabric on all four corners. And make it twice the size it is now. I hope I have enough fabric.

I am happy with this placement. Ready to Sew!!

    I like it too! 🙂
It reminds me of a modern-style stained glass window.

Gosh, I wish I had that nice big table. It looks so convenient for designing.

Guess what? I found old pix of my folded stars. I’ll put them on the blog next week.

      Hi Crystal!! Thanks much.

You are right. It does look like stained glass windows. I changed it up a bit more. I keep playing with the design. Change it. Hate it. Change it back. I am just back from JoAnn’s. I bought a couple Fat Quarters I may incorporate.

That’s my dining room table I was telling you about. The one with the 2 leaves. Leaves still in the closet. I wish there was a way to extend it width wise.

Yay!! Can’t wait to see your folded stars. May give me some ideas.

Look at you—not only quilting, but already starting to design a quilt. 😉

Hi Belinda, yes, me… finally learning to quilt. Did you see my folded quilted stars? I made four of them.

Hope you are doing ok. I think of you often. I know how much you love to sew.

Yes, I saw your folded stars; they were great! 🙂

It’s pretty rough right now because my mom is not doing well at all. Things are just very bizarre. I’ll send you an e-mail sometime and fill you in. I wish you enjoyed talking on the phone more because there is so much to tell it would be easier to talk rather than type.

At any rate, I’m glad you’re finally quilting. You will make beautiful quilts. 😀 In spite of everything, I have been sewing; it’s my stress reliever and right now, I need lots of stress relief.

Sorry about your mom. I know you are doing every thing you can. Glad doing a bit of sewing helps you cope. Hang in there.

Thanks!! I really am enjoying learning to quilt.

Today I start sewing. Wish me luck in getting the seams to match up.
