How about these Marbella D rings for handles? They can be arranged up.

I love your basket with the handle. Would you please tell us how to put the handle on? I would love to make this for a gift for a SS.

Kim, the next one I make like this, I will take photos. It is easy. When your bowl reaches the size you want, stop, begin wrapping the coiled fabric around the straight side of the D ring. Zig zag on to the other side. Do the same with wrapping the straight side of the 2nd ring. That’s it.

Wow, how could I have missed these fabric bowls! Awsome. I’ve loads of fabrics to throw away – nice way to ‘throw them away’. I’m assuming you have the instructions somewhere(?) I’ll browse and find it….then make me some bowls too. This one is just so lovely.

What an excellent gift for Christmas, especially for the hard to buy for person.
Approximately how much fabric does each strip take?

    Thank you for inspiring me.

Hi Yvonne. You can make the strips as long as you wish. I cut mine over an inch wide. See my post on how to wrap the longer strips in My 10 Tips on Making a Fabric Bowl. Even shorter strips work well. Sew them together before wrapping. Thanks!!
