Five Short of an Afghan

Taking a break today from everything else I am doing, working on.

Wanted to work some on my baby afghan. Last time I picked it up was last month when hubby and I took a short trip to the U.P. for 2 days. I managed to string together quite a few double crochets on the ride up.

Haven’t touched it since. Until today. I searched on-line for the dimensions of a baby blanket/afghan and found it should be no more than 36″ by 36″. So… I need 5 more granny squares to finish off.

Colors are peach, aqua and cream. 100% cotton yarn. Sugar ‘n Cream and Lion Brand. Center has four rounds of Pastel Delight (a blend) and then 2 rounds of peach (Tea Rose) and 2 rounds of aqua (Seaspray).

Once all squares are done, I will have to decide how to sew them together. Slip stitch, single crochet or just hand sew going from side to side. I guess I will experiment to see which way works best. Which way I LIKE best.

How do you attach squares together?

Update 7-20:

Done and ready to stitch together. BBL with more photos.
