April 1st!! Already!! My original plan today was to post a photo of a bed sized quilt and brag that it was mine, that I had made it. But I am sure you have already had your fill of April Fool’s jokes.
So, I come here today joke free but with something serious. No laughing matter.
Since this will be Sewing Month… yep, it is. REALLY!! I have to clear off one of the two banquet tables I use for crafting. I have them in an L shape. Right now my beading supplies take up the entire long side of the L. My little TV and crochet supplies take up the rest of the L. There is NO ROOM FOR QUILTING SUPPLIES unless…
Unless I clear off and box up something. BBL to tell you what I did.

You could always get another table.
I agree, another table is in order here. Boxing things up just creates chaos. You can’t remember what’s in the boxes so you waste time looking through them when you need something, or you buy more because you can’t find what you think might be in there. Another table would be cheaper in the long run! Besides, one can never have enough “horizontal surface” when one is a craft person, trust me, I speak from many years experience!
p.s. You can always go vertical if you don’t have the space for another table. Hang stuff on the walls, etc.
Both of the other posters have very good ideas for sewing month. I am just happy that you are finally going to dust off your poor neglected Janome.
Thanks for all the great suggestions. I wish there was room for a 3rd table. I am going to do some rearranging today. Maybe even throw out some stuff. It is time Spring Cleaning entered my craft room.
Cringe! Cringe! …throw away craft stuffus?! I could never do that.
I’ll not be holding my breath…
LOL!! This is also my Computer Room. I have stuff in here on the shelves I can move, toss or give away. THAT’s the stuff I meant. Certainly not my beloved craft supplies.
I’m in the same boat! I need more space to work. My table is too covered with supplies. When I mention that I need more plastic shoeboxes to store supplies, patterns, etc., my husband just smiles and says: “Oh, you don’t have enough of those?” lol
